The Basilica of the Assumption is a beautiful venue to host many events, including concerts, award ceremonies, baccalaureate Masses, etc. As America’s First Cathedral, we are delighted to serve and partner with the Arts Community and many other organizations who choose hold events at the Basilica.

*Please note that the Basilica of the Assumption is a non-profit, religious organization, and as such, cannot host or endorse any political activity or rally. Additionally, the Basilica reserves the right not to host an event on a date that conflicts with a Holy Day or the the Parish schedule. The Basilica also reserves the right not to accept any organization or event that represents or endorses any belief contrary to the teachings of the Catholic Church.

*Please note that the fees for events at the Basilica offset the significant operational, administrative, and security costs associated with hosting your event.  A Standard Event generally includes one performance per day. While the fees represent the costs associated with typical events, the Basilica reserves the right to assess a different amount in certain situations. These situations will be handled on a case-by-case basis.
