Are you looking for a monthly volunteer opportunity? Do you like history? Are you interested in Catholic history? Do you enjoy talking to people? If you answered “yes!” to these questions, you may be interested in the unique volunteer opportunity of becoming a docent tour guide for the Basilica of the Assumption.

As a member of the dedicated team of docents for the Basilica, you will:

• Learn about the history of America’s first cathedral and Catholicism in America
• Receive specialized training on how to lead tours of the Basilica’s Main Church and Undercroft
• Meet visitors from around the world
• Enjoy fellowship with other Docents and Basilica Staff
