Blessed is She

Blessed is she who believed that there would be a fulfillment of what was spoken to her by the Lord.

Women of the Basilica, join us in prayer, study, reflection and fellowship at our Blessed Is She nights on Wednesdays from 6:30-8:30pm on the 8th floor of the Catholic Center starting January 30th. Blessed Is She bible studies are a great way to nourish and deepen the faith but also to build sisterhood amongst the women of the parish. It is open to ALL AGES. You don’t have to be a parishioner to register so please invite your friends and family. The book that will be used for this bible study will be made available for purchase at the Sexton’s Lodge very soon but you can also purchase them at this link: After all the Masses this weekend (Jan 5-6), you can get more information and sign-up with Angelus at the back of the church. Blessed Conversations // The Virtues

The Virtues: this seven chapter downloadable study invites women to enter more deeply into the theological and cardinal virtues that God call us to live out as set forth in the Catechism of the Catholic Church.

Each virtue is discussed in four parts:

1) selection from the Catechism.
2) three Scripture verses related to it.
3) a reflection written by Abbey Dupuy of Surviving Our Blessings, a Blessed is She writer.
4) 3-5 discussion questions for your group.

Please use this link to order the book for this study.
