Women of the Basilica, join us in prayer, study, reflection and fellowship at our Blessed Is She nights on Wednesdays from 6:30-8:30pm on the 8th floor of the Catholic Center starting January 30th. Blessed Is She bible studies are a great way to nourish and deepen the faith but also to build sisterhood amongst the women of the parish. It is open to ALL AGES. You don’t have to be a parishioner to register so please invite your friends and family. The book that will be used for this bible study will be made available for purchase at the Sexton’s Lodge very soon but you can also purchase them at this link: https://blessedisshe.net/product/blessed-conversations-virtues/. After all the Masses this weekend (Jan 5-6), you can get more information and sign-up with Angelus at the back of the church. You can also contact her at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Blessed Conversations // The Virtues
The Virtues: this seven chapter downloadable study invites women to enter more deeply into the theological and cardinal virtues that God call us to live out as set forth in the Catechism of the Catholic Church.
Each virtue is discussed in four parts:
1) selection from the Catechism.
2) three Scripture verses related to it.
3) a reflection written by Abbey Dupuy of Surviving Our Blessings, a Blessed is She writer.
4) 3-5 discussion questions for your group.
Please use this link to order the book for this study.
Susanna Spencer of Living with Lady Philosophy is the Theological Editor of the Blessed Conversations series. She holds a Masters in Theology from the Franciscan University of Steubenville. She is a regular contributor for many Catholic journals and publications.
Thank you for your interest in Blessed is She. Unfortunately, our current class is full. If you'd like to be put on the wait list for the next class or are interested in other Parish events, please contact the Angelus Virata at email@example.com.
